This  Windmill Palm leaf is positioned on a painted background the stunning and vibrant Majorelle blue. Inspired by my visit to the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakesh.
 
Trachycarpus wagnerianus - unknown in the wild, but may have originated in cultivation in Japan, where it was first discovered by the horticulturalist Albert Wagner of Leipzig, Germany in the second half of the 19th century. This dried Palm is dried and dyed with organic dyes.
 
Framed in a black wooden  box frame with recycled glass and a central copper hanger.
The one you receive will be similar but not identical.
